HAuA was established on June 24, 1995, with its original name being the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Science and Technology for Automation.

HAuA is a professional social organization dedicated to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members. It also serves to connect and support individuals, organizations, and enterprises to operate effectively in the field of automation.

The current President of HAuA is Mr. Le Hoai Quoc.

HAuA currently has over 422 official members, including corporate members, academic institutions, and individual members, along with affiliate members who are automation engineers.

HAuA regularly organizes prominent activities such as the Annual Automation Day, the Automation Business Club Football Tournament, and the recurring “Cafe Tech” networking event. The Association also collaborates in organizing seminars, forums, and trade exhibitions related to the automation industry.
